Not that I need any more growlers in my life (thanks, antiquated CA laws) but this may be the exception on my next visit to Kalamazoo.

I was at the general store yesterday. Their growler fill area looks like it will be most reminiscent of Half Acre's. Their price for the empty growler ($18) is a tad excessive though.

What beers were available for fill?

Nothing available. They're still constructing it. No exact date on when they'll start doing fills. They said January though.

Sorry if this has been answered, but has it been determined if they will only fill their own growlers?

I am not surprised at $18 for an empty growler that is about the only way they could get most to buy one.

I wouldn't mind a growler of Roundhouse. Too bad I live 2 hours away.

Would definitely like a growler of Roundhouse. The growlers are kinda expensive though at $18.

That style growler is usually a little more expensive, but the quality is higher. You can have growlers refilled, right?

Ya but other nice swingtop growlers I've seen (Russian River, Hill Farmstead) are more around $12-13.

That's not the machine for filling growlers. That's the machine for teleporting growlers! :grimacing:
