    Has anybody seen Hellshire bottles from the release earlier this month on bottle shop shelves? I was working on a trade but my trading partner says he was told no bottles were sent into distro. That contradicts what @BrewsoBrewco said earlier in the thread so perhaps the situation has changed.

    I think you can probably rely on what @BrewsoBrewco said in this thread. Also, Oakshire has sent bottles of Hellshire into distribution the past few years, so can't see why this year would be different.

    That being said, have not seen any bottles on local shelves so far. But then I haven't been looking either. I'll try to do that this weekend.

    270 cases sent to distro. Last cases headed out last week.
    60 to Washington
    200-cases split across Oregon
    10 to Colorado
    30 remaining cases for the pub at release and for vintage library.

    Also 50ish-1/6bbls out to bars across our distribution network.

    They should all be out in the wild by now.

    Picked up a bottle at the MacAdams zupans tonight. Drinking a glass right now. Not bad at all. Pretty heavy on the molasses flavor, but not bad at all. Nice amount of bourbon flavor (in other words, a lot). Would order again.

    Was a bit surprised to see Hellshire at the Bend Trader Joe’s. Something I don’t have reservations about buying at shelf temp.

    Went there looking for any of the TJ’s/Petrus beers, no luck.

    I think 14.99 was the norm last year. That's what I paid at Arch Bridge last year as well.

    Am at beermongers now, and they have it for 18.50. So I don't feel QUITE as bad now. I kind of figured I was going to be paying a premium at Zupan's for a bottle. Oh well.

    $20 per bottle is the suggested price to consumer for the last 2 years for retailers. What they do is up to them.

    While we're on the subject, I just want to say that this is the best version I've had in some time. The last few years, the beer seemed to be heavy on the molasses, and the bourbon flavor just didn't blend in all that well with the base beer. Sitting on bottles for a year or two didn't seem to really help either.

    This year I'm picking up a lot more chocolate, and the bourbon seems to blend in better as well. Definitely a beer I plan to order more of.
