So my question on here. Who has gotten the chance to try their beers yet? If in the area, I feel you must get the opportunity to check them out! http://www.helltownbrewing.com
I have tries their offerings I love their devious Belgian I think that's what it's called And I'm excited to see how their sours will turn out.
I've gotten a chance to try their beers. Wouldn't call them a 'Pittsburgh brewery', though, as they're in the next county & close to an hour outside of the city. Currently my favorite SWPA brewery, though.
I agree with you on those beers. Personally , I am an IPA guy. But, I really enjoyed Devious, Perverse Stout, Brown Ale, and all of their beers. I just waned to bring their name up for only being a few years old they are growing quickly. And I respect the head brewer/owner for trying to improve on his recipes. Every time I visit he's trying to make them better.
Sorry for the location, I said Pittsburgh just because they are 25 minutes outside the city. I figured not too many know the name Mt. Pleasant. But, I agree with you on the best beer in SWPA region. I feel they will make a bigger splash in the Craft world as time goes on.
Fixed the awkward subject line. Added a link for reference. See here for opinions on their beers: http://beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/26528
Thanks Todd, I am a Novice to Beer Advocate. Still feeling out how to use this site. I appreciate the link and the change of title. Cheers from Pittsburgh!
