Helltown Brewing Acquires Rivertowne Brewing

    This is a REALLY interesting scenario that should benefit both businesses. It'll allow for Helltown to increase its distribution and will give Rivertowne some financial stability. Plus, Shawn (Helltown's owner) is a genuinely nice dude. Not many of those to the dozen in craft beer these days.

    Only had one beer from Helltown and it was Idle Hands

    One of the best IPAs I've had

    Well I hope this works, Rivertowne has been struggling for a while. Unfortunately it seems that sometimes when one brewery acquires another only one is left standing in the end (Left Hand/Tabernash for example).

    Now that they ditched those cheesy fish-themed labels, maybe their sales will pick up a bit.
