    Help!

Below is a list (i tried to attach a photo but kept getting blocked) of beers bottled and cellared between 2008ish and 2011ish (most on the earlier end). I wasn't intending on having them stay in the cellar for so long, but I was sent overseas and this is my first time back in the States. Which beers are peaking and should be consumed immediately? Which beers should I toss because they are too far gone? Which beers can I age longer?

    I appreciate any insight.

    Maredsous Triple
    Russian River Temptation
    Fuller's Vintage Ale
    Sam Adams Triple Bock
    Affligem Tripel
    North Coast Brother Thelonious
    Van Steenberge Gulden Draak
    Evil Twin Yin
    Trappiste Rochefort 10
    Samichlaus
    North Coast Old Rasputin
    Ridge Way Insanely Bad Elf
    Russian River Redemption
    Russian River Damnation
    Allagash Tripel
    Allagash Four
    Moylan's Imperil Stout
    Unibroue Fin du Monde
    Bornem Double

HOnestly, I don't see any that shouldn't be just fine, presuming the cellaring conditions were fine. In general, I'd probably say to try the older ones first, as well as lighter in body and color - Fin du Monde comes to mind for that one, maybe Gulden Draak and the Maredsous Tripel.

I would say the blondes/goldens/tripels have the greatest chance of having diminished in quality. Of the tripels I would say that the one that has the best chance of having held up is the Maredsous 10. They call it a Tripel, but I feel like it is more of a Tripel/"Quad" hybrid.

Frankly, I'm a little jealous of these vintages, especially the Rochefort 10 and the Old Rasputin. I would just start with the lighter/more sour ones and then work your way to the bigger/darker/heavier beers. I might even age the Russian Rivers more if you taste one and it is still delicious.

The Redemption and Damnation are probably way past their prime already, as one is a Belgian style Blonde and the other a Strong Pale.

Don't toss anything without at least tasting it first!

I've had a La Fin du Monde with 10m years of age on it and it was still pretty darn tasty - it held up very well (it was a vintage from the early 2000s).

I wasn't terribly impressed with Fuller's Vintage at 4 years, it seems like a bit too "small" of a beer to go much longer.

I'm not a big fan of triples so not much experience there.

But I'd say you are good with most of the others. I have a case of 2009 Samichlaus that I'm slowing working through.
