Help Finding a King Henry

    I have been trying to trade for a KH for the last 6 months, with no luck, so I'm hoping one of my fellow awesome NYC BAer's can help me out. I have a big birthday coming up next month and would kill for a bottle of KH to pop. Any help pointing me in the right direction for either a trade or a store that might still have one for sale will be greatly appreciated and rewarded with getting to share a bottle from my cellar with me.

    Hate to do this but you guys are my last resort.

    Damn you whoever brought the KH to the last bottle share and tempted me with that tiny but awesome taste.

    where are your ISO/FTs? i can't seem to find them. what were you offering? might have luck offering up your Utopios if they add on their end to make up $4$...?

    While I don't have any "whales", since last October I've offered stuff like:

    BCBS Coffee and Cherry Rye
    Bligh's, MOAS '12
    Black Note
    Heady and HF stuff
    Brooklyn Ghost Bottle - Cuvee Elijah
    Tons of KBS

    Got no bites. I don't have the required ammo, it seems (plus most of the above stuff I brought to the last NYC bottle share). Hence why I'm asking for help, in case anyone knows a store that has some (unlikely I know, but there's a Foodtown in Yonkers that still sells Rare, albeit for a huge markup), or offer some other kind of assistance. Aside from bottles, I can offer an invite to the next Brooklyn Brewery Brewmaster's Reserve release party, which is always a good time with crazy free beer and food.

    Also, the Utopias is a 3-way split with some buddies, so I can't trade it.

    I know for awhile Downtown Bar and Grill had it. They hang on to stuff too so it might be worth a shot to ask.

    What's that Rare going for in Yonkers?

    Wish I could but I brought a large portion of that to the last bottle share (it was well worth it).

    I'm going up to Vermont end of May to grab some Lawson's and HF stuff, but that's about a month too late to have this for my bday.

    When is your birthday? If I have time, I might be able to hook you up. I'm a sucker for someone who actually wants a beer to drink it, not trade it....

    That's plenty of time. I'll get on it next week. I've had most of the whales, leave those for others. You have tons of KBS. Lets talk about that. I'm missing some of my vertical! (I drank them)

    I HAD tons of KBS. Most I can get now is a few bottles of 2012, and when it gets released, 2013 (plus Doom).

    I'll get doom. leave that for someone else. I'm sure I have a few customers who would be happy to get a 2012 KBS though. And me. I can never have enough aged KBS!

    It's a shame those beers couldn't land a king henry. I shared my last bottle at a tasting last week so I can't help, but surprised no one until now was interested in helping you out. Seems like you potentially found a trading partner though so cheers to you both.

    Sure, can you give me an idea of what he's looking for? I just scored some 2013 KBS I would be willing to part with in addition to what I have been aging in the cellar.
