Hey BAs - Many of you know Fraggle. He's that bald punk rock guy who was the co-founder of Beer Revolution, sever at other spots and fixture of the NorCal craft beer scene for more than 20 years. He's pretty awesome. I forget what his BA handle is. He had a stroke last night and, by all indications, it is not a minor one. If you have ever enjoyed Beer Revolution, it is his fault. Nope. Some bad shit went down and he came out as no longer the co-owner. He's been having a rough time ever since with finances and such and was just starting to get back into a good place, and now this.

I was really saddened to hear this yesterday. Without the old bottle shares at Beer Rev I wouldn't be nearly the beer geek I am today. I will be donating for sure, get well soon Fraggle!
Just posted on Fraggle's Facebook page. He has taken a turn for the worse and is pretty much brain dead. He's expected to be with us only a couple of days. This is not smoke out my ass. Wendy posted with the OK from his dad. This sucks. Thanks my friend.

Yes he has passed on... Really sad to hear it. We just had an awesome share together at FWIBF at our hotel not that long ago.. He was a good man.
