Hey guys I'm headed to Galveston tomorrow and wanted some info on any good stores in the area. I checked out the directory and only found 1 place with 1 review. Trip with my family so probably won't have time to stop on the way through Texas. Thanks in advance.
Bottle shop wise, Specs on 61st st is about it. They have an okay selection but freshness and getting new beers has been a problem. They did just get Karbach cans and have some good bombers. Brews brothers is the only place with a decent tap list - it is on the strand and has some great taps on right now. They guys there know their beers and put up great beers - they also might have some good bottles for you. Good luck
I have to second Brew Bro's when I visited the area a few months ago. Great service and knowledge that made my stay enjoyable.
The best part about Brews Brothers is that you can order half pints if you feel like trying a few different things.
Thanks all...I actually took a short trip to Houston and stopped at D&Q mini mart. Pretty decent place but odd layout. I didn't get to go to Brews Broters unfortunately but maybe next time.
