Help: LA / SD taproom that do crowlers

    As per the title, I'm trying to track down best brewery taprooms (or bars) that do crowlers in LA or SD. Any help appreciated

    Crowlers haven't really taken off here yet, but there's always Stone (multiple locations), Mumford in DTLA, and Homage Brewing, which is in Pomona, 30 miles N.E of LA.

    San Diego area:

    Stone
    Bay City (must go)
    Hess
    Ballast Point (morena)
    Burning Beard (also a must!)

    That's off the top of my head. Burning Beard and Bay City are some favs. No offense to the bigger names but they have wide distro so I gravitate elsewhere.

    LA and SD are huge. What are you looking for. Where will you be at in LA and SD. And don't forget about OC > right in the middle of LA & SD. I think yo need more info on what, where and when. Lol.

    Well im staying down town in LA and little italy in SD but will have a car so can get around - just trying to pick up some interesting stuff to bring home for friends. I've seen a few places mention crowlers on Instagram but without trawling each brewery page one by one it's a nightmare to see who has what. Posts so far have been super helpful - I'm not looking for a definitive list of everywhere that does them just a few ideas

    Firestone Walker Venice does crowlers, don't know that they will have anything too interesting though.

    It's ok...a good chunk of us from san diego call OC LA. Hell, I actually consider anything north of I-78 (about 20 miles north of me) Canada.

    depending on where you're staying in DTLA, mumford is probably the closest for you. You also get a scenic view of the tent life in skid row.
