help locating heady

    i am planning on going to burlington this weekend with my girlfriend. unfortunately we will not be getting there until saturday so i was looking to see if any one could help me with some tips or my best bet on where to find heady to take some home

    Everything in the Burlington area will be gone. You could try stores around Stowe/Waterbury, check headyspotter for Friday deliveries

    Hey, if you can't get any...just drink a ton while you're there...flows like water in Burlington restaurants...

    Go to Hunger Mountain Coop; they had it on Sunday evening when I was there the first weekend of November. CBC Waterbury is also worth a shot first thing Saturday morning.

    Or, arrange a trade. Make an offer on here, see if someone is willing to pick up a case for you, and pay them for it. Surely there's gotta be a VT'er that is okay with doing this, right?

    I tried that at least three times and got crickets; not a single response. I was offering anything from Trillium, Night Shift, Jack's Abby, etc. to someone who could pick up a few extra four packs during the week. I guess I didn't get the right set of eyes, hope you do better. :slight_smile:

    CBC waterbury will still likely have some. Also check out the small super market just down the street from the Rez and pig. The name I can't of right this second.

    I was told at Hunger Mt this morning they had 160 cases of Heady there was not that many people there at that time. I'd give them a look when you come up. There was Heady at 2 stores in Waitsfield today also.

    IMO, the best resource out there.

    also, hunger mountain had only ~ 1.5 cases when i walked in this morning around 10.45. i've been there on thursday mornings several times in the last year and never saw it that depleted. and yes, there was only ~ 1/2 a case left after i passed through. :wink:

    Craft Beer Cellar in Waterbury is your best bet for Saturday. Waterbury isn't too far from Burlington and there are several nice options for lunch there too.

    I'm gonna be that guy- I'll be in Montpelier on Tuesday next week and I believe most of Montpelier gets Heady on Monday. Any chance it will still be kicking around tuesday knowing that most out of towners won't be in VT till Wednesday when HF is open?

    Thanks for all the help guys. Was able to locate 2 four packs easily today. Been drinking my day away with heady in Burlington now

    i found it at the beverage store right next to shaw's in Montpellier, one four pack per person limit, however my girlfriend was with me so we were able to snag 2
