help locating heady

Headed up to VT on Thursday 1/22, late. Staying in Essex. Based on people's past experience what are my chances of there being any cases of HT available at Beverage Warehouse on Friday AM?

Just trying to keep my expectations in check.

 

BA needs to create a bot: a post with the keywords heady, help, location, find and a response with the website gets posted and the thread gets locked.

 

Probably pretty slim. But lots of places get Friday delivery, check the schedule and hit those up. You won't be able to get a case in one shot, but should be easy enough to cobble one together at places with a one or two 4-pack limit.

It wasn't like I asked where can I find HT near Essex, I am not asking where and when to find it, I checked the Alchemist site for delivery schedule found a place near where I will be and asked for peoples experience and the chances of a certain place that gets a delivery on Thursday having some left Friday morning. I understand that I can drive all over to certain places on Friday based on the delivery schedule and grab a few 4 packs here and there, but I would like to be able to bang a case out for the rest of the weekend in one stop.

Definitely check the supermarket in Waterbury. Last time I was there they had tons of HT, 2 four pack limits. Lasted until Sunday from previous delivery.

As others have said, craft beer cellar may also have a few four packs left. If you are driving straight up 91 to 89, waterbury is a quick stop.

 

Hunger Mt Coop might be worth checking on your way up if they are still open, I'm not sure how late they are you might want to check their web site. They are not far off 89

 

Sorry if I wasn't clear; slim was probably the wrong word. You aren't going to find a case at Winnoski or anywhere else on Friday. But if you are willing to hit a few spots, you can put one together pretty easily, especially if you have a friend/spouse with you who can buy another 4 pack.

CBC in Waterbury and Hunger Mountain are both high probability to have HT on Friday. Winnoski, which sells cases on Thursday morning, will not have it. If you want a bunch of HT, hit up CBC, Hunger Mountain, and a bunch of the other spots that get it on Friday, like Sunflower Natural Foods.

I was hesitant to even ask the question based on responses I have seen in the past that is why I made it as specific as possible. I agree the 'Where can I find HT?" question is ridiculous with all the tools available to us.

Will be heading up this Friday so thanks for the helpful advice. Any idea what the timing of deliveries generally is? We were thinking of doing Waterbury for lunch and then stopping at places in Waterbury/Stowe on our way up to HF mid-afternoon (assuming the lines will be shorter than right at opening...rather not spend 1.5 hours in the freezing cold that morning).

 

I found it at CBC on a Friday night and Hunger Mountain on Sunday late afternoon. Most places will tell you when they get deliveries if you call. I didn't bother going anywhere else since I wasn't arriving until late Friday night and could only make the one stop at CBC.
