you left out the part where trolls arrive in Rome and people feed them. That's the most important part of the story in this thread

In fairness, how does one know it is a Vermont post by the title "Help!"? I clicked on it thinking he fell & couldn't get up.

You said it my friend. That's the point here; why is anyone taking precious time out of their life to hate on someone? It's time to take a long look at oneself if this is what their energy is being expended on. Life is short, folks. Read a book, paint a portrait, tell the people closest to you that you love them. All else is flawed. Thx buddy!

If people get so pissed about repeat threads, why not a sticky? Personally I side with those who don't see the big deal; this place would be more fun if people weren't so quick to hate. Regardless, if it's that big a deal the solution seems very simple. Don't really get the aversion to catch-all type threads around here.

TD, you will almost certainly be able to find some Lawson's on tap in the area, and most here would highly recommend it. While you probably won't find DS unless they post about it on the Lawson's Facebook and blogspot, Sip of Sunshine seems plentiful and is definitely a great introduction even if not quite as perfect as its brother beer.

Dude, thanks! Great info. Also, agree that not only this place, but earth would be more fun if people just, I dunno, helped the person next to them. You're good people!

Not only lazy, but the title of the thread guarantees that even people who are motivated enough to search will get no benefit from this, unless of course their serach term is "help". Fine work.

A sticky would be a good idea. I don't get the hostility. Just ignore them if you don't like repeat threads. On the other hand, brand new posters should at least try to search. I react more positively to someone who says, "I checked the forums and know XXX, and YYY, but can't tell exactly when I should go to HERE and when I should go to THERE". Especially since there are least three very fresh threads on this. Again, sticky would help.

That being said, if we are honest, the realities of the stellar beer scene in Vermont are a bit shocking to people. "Only on Thursday morning at a tiny country store in Warren VT that isn't even visible from Rt 100, and be sure you are there between 9-11. Oh, and two bottle limit". Seriously? I've done it, and had been to the store many times before, but that is some hokey shit for anyone from most anywhere else. Heady's day/regions deliveries are easier to follow via their website, but still...you have to be in the exact right place at the exact right time. So I empathize with people on this specific topic.

Hey you got a little help from the moderators, at least you've got a reasonable title now.

When you look at Alchemist's website, the stores that say Cases are you best bets to get a case and thus means the others don't sell by the case. Your chances depend on what time you get there. Lawson's website tells you where to get bottles and their Blog (linked from their site) tells you what beer is being delivered and when. Lawson's has it's hits and misses, check the ratings.

Welcome to the internet. Message boards are sarcastic and full of haters. People are less inclined to help when the basic, fundamental research tasks aren't executed. You could have found everything you needed to know except your chances by visiting a few webpages.

Thanks! Yeah, exactly...I did my research on the Alchemist's website with deliveries, but kind of just wanted to know my chances. Haters gonna hate.

Your attitude is excellent for someone who just got here, started a topic with no title and got mouthy with 9 out of 10 people who have made comments here. It will go a long way for you, I'm sure everyone will be very happy to help you in the future. Often times it is best to remain quiet and have people wonder if you are a knucklehead then it is to open your mouth and let them know for sure.
