Help! Looking for Schneider Aventinus Tap 6!

    Hey there PNW homies!

    I'm located in Everett WA, and I'm attempting to locate someplace that stocks even ONE can/bottle of Aventinus Tap 6 (the weizenbock that could launch a thousand ships).

    I've tried my usuals, but to no avail. Does anybody here have the scoop on a bottle shop in the North Seattle, Everett area that might have such a delicacy on the shelf?

    DID SOMEONE JUST SAY AVENTINUS?!?

    I'm sure it must be around, I can't speak for a specific place since I'm in Portland. It does seem to be a staple of Bevmo and Total Wine, any luck at any of them near you?

    Schneider Weiss has been extremely difficult to find in WA since Covid. Last time I was at Bottleworks (4 months ago) they had Tap 6. Had some age on it but kept cold and tasted great. I live very close to Idaho so that’s where I get my fix (but I’m a Tap 7 guy).

    I assume a lot of the problem has to do with the location. BA places doesn't show a whole lot of options in Everett. The Whistle Stop seems to be the best bet. Surrounding towns don't show much either (Marysville, Mukiluto, Arlington, etc.). In Edmonds there's Brigid's and a PCC. Might be worth giving them a call. Otherwise, I think the OPs best bet is to drive down to Seattle

    Aha! Good question.
    I guess I'm not really looking for just one...I'd buy however many I could get my hands on. I was just excited to share it with someone I'm currently introducing to the finer German elements, and am disappointed that Coeur d'Alene seems to be the closest place I can find it at the moment.

    I'll need to check BevMo...Total Wine's distributor apparently is not schlepping it at the moment (as I was informed by their service desk).
