Not too much offer, but it was colorless (looked like sparkling water). Had a lemon/citrus IPA flavor I think. I really liked it but couldn't find in my area. Now been a couple of years and got.me thinking of it again, but I can't remember what it was. Suggest some clear/colorless IPAs please.
Miller Clear? https://www.weirduniverse.net/blog/comments/miller_clear_beer Honestly, clear/colorless IPAs seem like a contradiction in terms.
Remember that that was the era when Miller's discount brand, Meister Brau was "a beer with bite" that went down "like razor blades" ( according to some), so... When I was a kid, a local NJ pop bottler (maybe Frank's?) made a clear birch beer. I guess it wasn't that odd since lemon-lime 7 Up and its imitators were clear but I was fascinated by it. I wondered why a company didn't come along and make all their flavored soft drinks clear (I ever created a brand name for them - KLEER. Yeah, could have been a floor cleaner, too.) Where you drinking on the patio, with dark sunglasses on?
Not been in a bunch of years but our yearly trip to knoebels I always looked forward to a clear birch beer and the white broccoli pizza. I remember MB being quite bitting from the bottle. I remember it being very carbonated to add to the bite. Odd creaminess to it as well. Enjoy
Good call. OP might have run across a straggler from the 2017 re-release. My notes indicate that this didn't have much flavor at all until I dumped in a shot of creme de cassis. For better or worse, I haven't seen it since.
Actually, the most popular additive for Zima in the 90s was Jolly Ranchers. When it made it's comeback in 2017 I put up a display of the 40 cases I was shipped and had my GM manager order in extra Jolly Ranchers to go with it. I sold out both Zima and the candy in less than a week. Phil Dunphy would have been proud.
Anyone remember the "Crystal Gravy" skit from SNL? Yeah... it looks like what you think it looks like...
