Help Me Name My Homebrew

    So, I'm whipping up some labels for my most recent batch of homebrew and can't think of a fun name for it. It's a Saison base with bright, citrusy American hops, Indian Cordiander and Raw Agave Syrup. Then, I dry-hopped it in secondary with some more hops, some fresh mint leaves and a crap ton of cucumbers. The cucumber and mint combo is more prominent in the end result.

    Any ideas that are slightly more clever than "Cucumber-Mint Saison"?

    It's a shame that most of the character isn't coming from the agave syrup. Then you could call it Epic Inane Argument Saison. :slight_smile:

    No offense intended, but the first thing I think of is "Perplex"

    But, I brew very simple (well thought out) beers...that look nothing like this.

    You'd be surprised how non-perplexing it is. The cucumber-herb-citrus-sweetener combo has been a staple for high-end mixologists whipping up summertime cocktails for years now. It's a tried and true flavor profile, but, as far as I could find on Google, no one has put it into beer yet, so I wanted to try my hand at it.

    The key to atypical ingredients like this is using them sparingly. American craft brewers seem to have this urge to overdo things. If the beer uses a, dare I say, off-centered ingredient, its always used in ridiculous quantities to the point that its barely recognizable as beer anymore. If you take more of a culinary approach to things, use some restraint but think outside the box, you'd be surprised by the level of depth and complexity you could bring to the table.
