We have lots of parties. We drink lots of beer. Always interesting to see what a crowd which is made up of maybe 60% regular craft beer drinkers, will drink at a party. We've had Old Brown Dog, DFH 60 min, DFH 90 min, and others. Old brown dog was the most accessible. Even Light IPAs are met with resistance from the masses. So I'm looking for a Brown Ale, or some other malty ale at 5-7%abv that people like. If it were cheap, that would be a plus. I have plenty of ideas of course, but might be a fun topic for folks to throw their two cents at. So have at it. And thanks!

Not a brown but Sam Adams Boston Lager is a Winner. Any marzen (obviously not that season) would work well too.

Boston Lager didn't satisfy the beer nerd crowd. We had a half keg of Boston Lager and it took us days afterwards to finish it.
