    Hi y'all ,
not sure if my palate changed or if I never drank it this fresh previously. I have some fresh cans stamped at 2 weeks old

To all Ten Fidy Advocates; does this years version fresh taste similar to last years ?
All the Fidy I had last year was at least 6 months old, and was so delicious that I had difficult cellaring it due to my rapid consumption.

I'm not one to say any year is better than another. Beer is an agricultural, food product. Input changes bring changes in final product. I'm strictly interested in your opinion if this years release ( fresh ) is similar to last years.

I had TenFidy from 2 years ago and this years side by side and liked this years more. Haven't had last years but if its better than this year's, I definitely have to get my hands on it.

It is also produced in North Carolina now; I see cans from here and CO still in circulation.

I've always liked it fresh. But it also doesn't really fully sell out in cali. So I generally have it between bottling to 1 year and its always good. I never really notice much differences between the new vintages.
Just always Good! As my friend asked a few days ago
friend "should I get velvet merkin?"
    Me "get ten fidy"

Great, viscous beer. Worth the price of admission (to me.)

Wish they would go back to the 6 pack. Paying similar prices for a 4 pack that i did for a 6 pack last year. Well worth the price

I like this years a lot better than the can that I had last year. To me the malts and roast are very well balanced this year. Last year, at least the can I had, was rather boozy and lacked balance

Just had one that was canned very recently. Completely delicious. Would love to buy a 6 pack for the price they charge for the 4 pack. haha

One of my favorite's, just love the mouth feel of this beer. Really got to say that I like it fresh a lot more than aged and I can never seem to leave it in the cellar long enough to age it anyway so that works out

Fantastic beer. Definitely a little different this year as compared to years past. I found it to be *really* strong on the vanilla notes this year, but it was fantastic. Aging will obviously change the profile considerably.

I have had one in about a year. I'll have to grab a fresh one. Definitely a high quality beer but at $5 a can its not something I buy too often.

Haven't had previous years' batches but this years is really good.

Even after my sister-in-law threw an M&M across the room that landed right inside my tulip glass.

Just had a year old can today and it was delicious IMO. I cellar them and still have a couple from two years ago as well as 4 from last year left. Just had this fresh last week as well and as some of the previous posters stated it did seem to be a little heavy on the vanilla side but hey, this is my go to as it is plentiful here as well as delicious. So if you want a quality product then spend the cash.
