Help me with TenFidy

I posted last night about how much I enjoyed revisiting one of my first fav's, Old Rasputin....So I had to go back down in my cellar to rediscover another old favorite....Ten Fidy.....with about 9 months on it, I dare say I'm loving it it more than Old Raspy....love this time of year, reacquainting myself with some some old friends.

While I'm inclined to agree with you about the quality of Ten Fidy, I don't find it 2x better than Old Raspy.
And by that I'm referring to the retail price here...$8 for four of Raspy vs $16 for Ten Fidy.
But I will agree on the fact that Fidy with a year is outstanding. I knew this last week before I knocked what was essentially 90% of a year old Fidy off of my coffee table.

Luckily, most Ten Fidys on the shelf are about a year old, so no aging needed.

 

Well, in my area they were but me and @CommanderOfAwesome have bought every can from last year that we can find.

 

I recently had a Ten Fidy that had 2 months on it, and it was almost undrinkable. This is my favorite RIS, but only with age.

 

I remember seeing a post from Todd saying it was $8.99 at his local target. Best I can find is $14.99/4pack around me.

I wish Ten Fidy was this cheap around me in MI. Had it on tap a two weeks ago and I really love how unforgivable a fresh Ten Fidy is on the palate...in the best way possible of course

 

My buddy in Denver told me he got it for 8.99 as well. Needless to say I told him to pick me up a couple 4-packs

 

ten fidy is the absolute tits....one of my top 10 favorite of all time

 

Any comments on this aging? I have a few sitting around and since it's in a sealed can, no active yeast, will age really change it much?

 

The boozey taste had dissapated quite a bit (which I liked)...creamy, roasty, malty goodness!

 

TenFidy is great, however it is about $15 a 4pk. Great Divide Yeti IS has a price around $8 a 4pk and is almost as good and cellars very well. @twizzard it looks like you can get it in NY. Have you had it?

 

Got some on the shelf in the basement....I think it may meet it's demise on Thanksgiving!

 

A can hear in Tennessee ranges in price from four to five dollars. Sometimes it costs four fidy. Well worth it even still.

 

Quoted for truth. Went to my local beer store on Saturday, and all the Ten Fidy they had either had one or two years on it. I picked up two four packs, one with one year on it and one with two years on it.

 

You are correct. I actually took a picture of it and I had a 4 pack and 2 singles
