Heading to Brooklyn early Saturday evening. Was looking for some guidance on any breweries/bars worth checking out. Will have a car so doesn't need to beer near public transportation. Was going to go back to barcade but now seeing thats about 45 min from where I will be

Not too familiar with Brooklyn but according to a map I guess I'll be in the Mapleton/Ocean Parkway/Manhattan Terrace area...

I don't know the names of the Brooklyn neighborhoods too well, but we took a tour of Five Boroughs Brewing Company in Sunset Park, and you might also want to check out Sixpoint Brewery, almost across the street from Ikea in Red Hook and Other Half Brewing Company on the other side of the BQE. Cheers!

Sixpoint is only open about once a month when they do their small-batch release events. They announced a full-time brewery taproom in the area, but that won't be open for a while.

If you're driving and have any interest in New England style IPA, you kind of have to check out Other Half. There's not a ton of really notable beer destinations right in the area you are, but OH is on the same side of BK, and from there you can walk to Folksbier and Threes, both of which are also very solid.

You can also go north up to Williamsburg/Bushwick, which has a bunch of great breweries and bars. Grimm is one of the best breweries in the city, and it's just a couple blocks from Interboro (which has kinda fallen off to me tbh), and in the same general area as KCBC (brewery) and The Well (bar).

Finback in Queens is also great, basically impossible to get to with public transportation but since you're driving it might be in the cards. Not much else at all in that area though.
