Help with burner selection

    FWIW, with my 15K burners, I need to turn the flame down to stir the pasta. Otherwise, it instantly burns the hair off my hand. (you can tell if I've had pasta in the past week by looking at my right hand :flushed:)

    Hell, my old beat up 80's vintage stove can get a fairly vigorous boil going on 7 gallons of wort in about a half hour. Eventually I'll buy a house that has a stove with a couple "power burners" that will speed that up considerably.

    so naugled, you already have the stands? I would opt for the low pressure hurricane as it sounds like the advice is here. The noise level compared to the jet burners is huge. If you can control heat with a shield and get kettle level perfect, you should find results similar to blichmann burners...aka quiet and sips propane while bringing 12 gallons to a boil in no time
