So these glasses have been in my family for ages, but I can't find any info on them anywhere. They may have had a brand on them at some point, but if so it has long been washed off. They are really cool, and I'd like to grab a few more. Any help is much appreciated.
Probably just referred to as a "goblet" - beer glass names varied from glass mfg. to mfg, region to region, etc. I've got one like that branded in gold for Carling Black Label Beer, somewhat unusual since it's specifies Baltimore, Maryland (one of many breweries Carling had in the US over the years, might have been an employee give-away). Black Label had a long series of magazine ads in the 1960's featuring many different styles of beer glasses (w/o logos) and I seem to remember it being featured as well (unfortunately the website with those ad repros is down). Seems I've seen other brands, as well. Kinda doubt the logo was washed off, even the badly faded ones usually had some remnant of it left. Back then, the logos were fired-on, not the cheap decal-types that were (note "were") on my Samuel Adams "Perfect Pint" glass.
