I've been on BA for a year, but this is my first post.

A month or so ago, I bought a Boon Framboise with a BBD of 3-22-2015. I know a lot of other Boon products have the BBD 20 years after bottling. I didn't know if this was true for the Framboise so I asked around. The only answer I could get was that it's fresher than twenty years old and that was from the importer. No answer from anyone else including the brewery, so I hope you guys can help me. How old is my Framboise?

I've got a couple with a BBD of 2017 that have a neck label of 2012.

That helps a lot. Thank you. Unfortunately, the neck label didn't have a date.

I cant speak specifically to Boon, but Oud Beersel puts a 4 year best by on their Framboise vs 20 years for the Oude Gueuze and Oude Kriek. Raspberry is a bit more delicate than cherry and tends to fade faster, hence the shorter suggested drink date.
