Heading to Buffalo next month, and just wondering if there are any new breweries I should check out? I know about or have been to Thin Man, Froth, Resurgence, and Aurora Brew Works. Specifically interested in good lagers, sours, stouts, and Ipas. Thanks in advance.

Really enjoyed Briar Brothers on a recent trip. Great space (especially in the summer, but not a bad winter spot I imagine), excellent classic styles, and good IPAs. Others I was with loved the kettle sours, not my style really so no opinion here.

@Morey Swing by Thin Man again…either location. Buy as many of the BA Awesome Jenkins magnum varieties as you can, and the 3-year BA Blanton’s.

Community Beer Works. If they have The Snow available, that was a previous GABF gold winner.

    Big Ditch.

Other Half has a Full Time location downtown now.

New York Beer Project (Lockport) can be hit or miss, but they’re decent and have good food.

If you don’t mind swinging out farther, Mortalis (Rochester) is a must. Eli Fish (Batavia) has some good things.

If you want a good craft beer honey hole…DM me. I’m not telling everyone, or else there might not be enough for me!

    Pressure Drop.

    Flying Bison…

These guys are exceptional and the best new spot in the city for sure. Great space, even better beers. Highly recommend.

As far as newer there’s also Autark Brewhouse but I haven’t been and haven’t heard anything on beer quality.

Spotted Octopus is also new and right downtown but again, haven’t been myself and can’t speak on it.
