My friends and I will be hitting up three stops on a beer tour and finishing the day at Russian River. We're stopping at Lagunitas and Bear Republic. Any suggestions on a third stop, besides 3rd Street? Thanks for the help.

I'm not a local but the spot that seems to come up regularly is Flavor Bistro in Santa Rosa because they have a nice selection of Moonlight beers which are regional and draft only.

Is there going to be a keg on the bus?

Probably just the beers we bring.

That's a great place! We're hoping to end the night there.

that's a lot of beer. Three stops is usually enough for me but if you can do four then more power to you. Moylans and Marin are in the North Bay. I can't speak to actually visiting them but Moylan's has yet to really impress me.

Iron Springs kicks major ass, one of my favorite brewpubs.

Best food of the various stops suggested, too.

    (Not in Sonoma County, though.)

Ruth McGowan's in Cloverdale seems to keep getting better and better.

If you're not restricting yourself to breweries, stopping at Taps in Petaluma is necessary.

Between SR & Petaluma is Rohnert Park. Bunch of hotels there & central to the area.

Try the Sandman Inn in Santa Rosa. Their price is pretty fair and you can stay for only one night.

The Hotel La Rose. About 4-5 blocks from Russian River. Near great restaurants and bars. Not to mention across the street from the Omelet Express, best place for breakfast in the county!

both of those hotels are probably out of our budget. and la rose is a bit too fancy for me and my brother

I strongly disagree about Omlete Express. I'm not a big fan of tht place. Lots of better places in Santa Rosa for breakfast.

That's too bad. I have enjoyed every visit and there have been many after living for 23 years in Santa Rosa...
