Too each his own, but I prefer Dierk's or Mac's. But hey, OE seems to be doing just fine without my business

Rendezvous Cafe (next to flavor) is probably your best bet for cocktails. If wine is what you're after, hit Portifinos.

Third St Aleworks. Sprengers is a couple of blocks away. Also, a new gastropub opened further down 4th St called Belly. Haven't been there yet, but looks like they have a good beer list.

Flavor has been mentioned for the Moonlight brews. TAPS is Petaluma is worth the drive & HopMonk is Sebastapol is good as well.

Sorry, this is a pricey tourist area so you're going to have to go sleazy. America's Best Value Inn in Santa Rosa might be your best bet for walking distance to RR. Motel 6 near Lagunitas.

    Walking distance from Russian River:

    Third St Aleworks
    Flavor
    Sprengers
    Belly
    Toad in the Hole

    That really is about it.

Actually, Guy is pretty much hated among locals. We're all ashamed that he is what most people think of when they hear "Santa Rosa." Personally, I'm doing as much work as I can to get Vinnie to take his place as the most famous person from SR.

Hey buddy! Guy is a pillar of the fucking community! We all just wish we were cool enough to take up 5 spaces with our monster truck parked sideways at the local supermarket.

Did you know he converted it to run on Donkey Sauce? He did that so he could actually DEcrease his gas mileage, cause that's how much of a douche he is.
