Help with Tsjeeses bottle date...

    I just picked up a bottle of Tsjeeses Belgian X-Mas Ale.
    The side of the bottle is marked: Lot B 6 08

    Does anyone know what this means? Is it possible this is was bottled in 2008?

    The store told me they are discontinuing it as it does not sell very well.
    BTW, it tastes great, no loss of carbonation. I'm going back to buy more.
