Three options would be best – pilsner, IPA, brown/stout/porter. Represents three large categories.

I had Stoudts Weizen and Hop Devil.........keg of each.....all kicked......the weizen was a huge hit with non beer lovers on that 95 degree day. It was 1996 so my choices were somewhat limited.

If done today I think I might go with Akari Shogun.....my new favorite beer. I would also do a weizen but not sure what one. Daisy cutter would work well too. I am guessing these Half Acre beers are sixtels so I would add another bunch of beers too. I would again stay local except for the two HA beers.

    Enjoy

Talk to your favorite local breweries about allocating kegs. You could get them all from a single brewery or get different styles from different breweries. Either way, it would be a great talking point and memory for the wedding.

If you only get one choice I would absolutely go with Prima or Sunshine Pils. I think you will have more pilsner drinking guests than lager drinking guests so I would go with one of those options over Yuengling. Easy drinking, non-filling, widely enjoyed, and delicious!

One thing you should consider is the ABV. Some of the suggested beers have significantly higher ABV than macro drinkers are used to, and as many folks drink heavily at weddings, you could have them dropping like flies, particularly if it tastes too good. Could be fun to watch, but you don't want DUI's. We had someone get picked up leaving our reception, and that can put a damper on things.

At my daughters wedding last year (no kegs) I had Anchor Steam and Fat Tire along with Yuengling and Bud Light (you have to have some macros) and then I did a golden ticket for the IPA drinkers and had two sessions with Firestone Walker's Easy Jack and Union Jack. It was a good time.
