It's a damn shame, I always meant to visit their location at Common Craft in Mass but never got around to it. I saw the news in a different thread the other night and may or may not have bought several cases of beer because of the discount lol. Their beer will be missed for sure
Maybe it would be better if you elaborated for people unaware of any negative feelings towards the company.
I always saw their products sitting on shelves, collecting dust. And when I saw the prices on said product, I understood exactly why.
RIP to one of the top New England breweries, in my opinion. The range of flavors they were able to pull using different wild cultures was eye opening, and they really hit the mark with their wild fermented barrel aged seltzers. Despite the above complaint about their price, I'd argue that their cans were some of the best value in that style. I suspect they may have been driven to keep their low pricing to remain competitive, and in doing so may have ran into financial realities. I'll definitely miss their cozy Brattleboro tap room! Here's hoping that someone else in the region picks up their wild ale production.
