I remember the Full Nelson IPA being pretty tasty. The restaurant and brewery don't really integrate that well with each other, the focus is definitely on the food and atmosphere. Don't go in there and expect to see some kind of craft beer frenzy taking place. That being said, the menu is chef-driven and full of really cool seasonal items prepared in unique combinations. Go for the food, but get a beer.
I'll second this. The food's great, the atmosphere's cool, the view excellent, the beer's. . . fine. All solid house offerings that are worth trying, but the beer will in all likelihood be the least memorable part of your visit.
We went last night, excellent atmosphere and service. Food was great. Really enjoyed the beer too. Had the Cacophony IPA and the porter, both were good. I definitely recommend this place, glad we tried it.
I'm a big fan - I get down there with my growler as often as possible. The food is great (as long as you go in understanding it's somewhat of a high price/small portion, very nice atmosphere, type of place) and their beers have always impressed me. The Bourbon Vanilla Porter - which they don't seem to have on tap lately - is amazing, along with all their IPA's.
I go there occasionally (just last week actually) for happy hour, it is good for that. Personally, Hot's Kitchen down the street is more my taste. Better beer selection (not a huge fan of any of the house beers I've tried there) and I am addicted to burgers.
We went to Hots tonight. Excellent beer list for sure. Food was pretty good. Given the choice for a night out would go for Abigaile, but this is a matter of personal choice.
