Haven't had the poutine that is on this season, but the one last go round was my least favorite of the ones they've done. Still agreeable, because it is poutine... but still....

 

The chicken sandwich on the new menu is ridiculous. The Mad Elf fondue is also a must.

 

Heading up that way tomorrow (from Baltimore) to spend the day at the park. I looked over the thread and it seems like Pizza Boy and Troegs are the consensus for breweries and Breski's and Brass Rail for bottle shops. Any other last minute suggestions, specifically for bottle shops that may carry stuff that doesn't see normal distro in MD?

 

probably not much that you'll see that is not available in MD

you'll probably mostly end up bringing home pizza boy cans/bottles

Troegs occasionally bottles scratch beers

both have crowlers as well

 

I am not sure if these are available in the Hershey area, but some of the beer I get near Philly, that I can't get in Delaware or Elkton Md are:

Cigar City
Deschutes
Great Lakes

Friends of mine are going to be at Troegs this weekend, anyone know if they have anything that is brewery only bottled/canned that I should have them grab for me.. doesn't seem like they have a list on their site.

There should be some bottles of the Fresh Hop beers they did for the Hop Fest recently. Dead Reckoning as well, in cans. Maybe even the Weizenbock (although that is in the Anthology packs that get distributed, right?) and whatever other scratch beers they bottled recently.

Can't say for certain but I'd say it's likely those are there. They might even have a one of the Barrel Aged beers in bottles still around, but I haven't looked for or noticed them in the past few visits.

Idk if NJ will get MOP or ME. They might get ME, but I highly doubt they get MOP.

 

You could be right. I just assumed that MoP will see normal distro. Could be wrong.

 

We see Mad Elf, I have some from last year I kept in my cellar. I don't think we see MoP though.
