I'm planning a trip to Hershey Park next week. Any body know if they serve any decent beers in the park? I'd assume they would have some Troegs since they're right around the corner. Also, if anyone has any recommendations for places around there that have good food and beer they're much appreciated.
not sure about in the park but if you are staying at the Hershey Lodge... they are stocked with Troegs stuff... a couple of the bars in there have decent bottle lists too. I remember drinking a Cenntenial and Stone IRS bomber at the Bears Den when I was there..food was good too... http://www.hersheylodge.com/dining/index.php
I don't think I'll be staying at the Hershey Lodge. It's a bit pricey. I might have to check out the Bear's Den though.
Depending on price point, The Warwick Hotel in Hummelstown (~9 miles away from the Park) could be a good place to go. It's not extreme, but they always have dedicated PA Craft lines and there are some interesting beer events coming up. Current Tap List
Brass rail in Campelltown is only ~10 minutes away. They have both a bottle shop and case distributor. You won't find a better selection without driving 30 minutes or more. And yes, go to Troegs. You could walk there from the park if there was a sidewalk.
