I'm cool with it as long as it's not smuggled in a body cavity

Those that are close to me know understand my craft beer addiction. They've started to ask... I always give cash and a clear list (keep it to 2 or 3 different beers). Some deliver and some don't. Like others, I'm always playing it low key and extremely grateful. I also offer a one-of-a-sixer payment that has paid off. As a result, I've successfully converted two co-workers to micro-only. They never would have tried it but once they did they were hooked.

I have before. I have a sales guy in our company who travels a fair bit, and when he can, he will ask me for places to stop in for a good beer. Not into craft enough to know differences, but likes beer and new things, so I give info, and he brings back bottles when possible.

    Win for everyone.

I want to say: "I have never done this", but that'd be a lie.

I used to have a friend who drove flowers all over the state, and once asked him to pick me up a 12-pack of Meister Brau in Superior, WI. Thinking back, I should've had me pick up two 12-packs! :grinning:

The only thing I have done similar to this is I took some beer back to my Mom/Dads house for Christmas. When I returned home I realized not everything made it back, I called and told her under no uncertain means to take that Backwood Bastard bottle I left in her fridge and put it out or do anything with it. Just leave it there and I will be back to get it(drink it) in February. Bothers me about once a week that it is sitting in their fridge in a small town in Louisiana, wonder if it is getting lonely in that fridge. Nothing but cheap wine and 2% milk to keep it company. Kinda sad now just thinking about it. Guess I will do this every time I go so I will make sure I see them every couple of months. Or maybe my mom knew what it was and took it out of my stash and kept it....
