Curious what this could land. I also have a bottle of Everett and a buddy has Art who would possibly put it up with my E. Not set on trading them unless they can get some good stuff. Who knows when I'll be up to HF from 8 hours away again.

What do you consider "good stuff"?

While I can't comment about the caliber of beer you can land with an E., I do know that you could land big smiles and much gratitude from those you share it with. To me, that is what I call "good stuff"

Why is it all about "what can this land?" nowadays? It's a well-reviewed limited release from a superb brewery - of course it's going to get you something good. Find a couple of beers in a similar boat that you're interested in and put up an ISO. Trading isn't about squeezing every last ounce of value out of your beers...

While I do agree with Leschkie and Cbeer88, this is a beer forum and questions are expected. It's not easy for noobs to determine what their beer is valued at in terms of trading. I see nothing wrong with asking a simple question, but there are other ways to ask it. For example, "I have a bottle of HF E and Everet and I really like BA stouts, do you think this could trade for DL, Darkness, hunahpus, BT, etc". Giving specific examples makes it more a question regarding beers you would like rather than just trying to maximize trade value. In many cases, your initial trade is not where you get the best "beer bang" for the buck. Once you hook someone up they will hook you up. It really works.

While I totally agree with you, the nature of the question suggested he would only trade his E if he could "upgrade". I also wasn't directed squarely at him, but rather the general trend of the community going in this direction. ISO:FT is nauseating lately...

Lol good lord. I was just curious if anyone else had traded these and what they got. I doubt I will trade it, but I was curious since I do have some things I may want if other people had landed them or similar with the beers in question. Didn't think it was a reason for an outcry. If I could get one of the few beers I might want, then maybe I could make someone else happy and I could also be happier. That's what trading is about to me, maximizing satisfaction on both ends. I'm not trying to squeeze every last ounce of value from it, so sorry if that's what my OP said to you.

Another thread with useless, off-topic bickering.

If it helps OP, I'm trading a bottle for an Upright Sole Comp. No clue which one yet since this is a regular trading partner I have.

If this is your intention then list the beers you're interested on. Otherwise it looks like your just looking for the best deal. Just sayin.

I suppose it does look that way, but my intention was to ask what others had gotten for it, just didn't do that in the best way. I only have a couple things I know I want to try, and there's so much beer out there, so that's why I wasn't specific.

It might be better in the future for you to submit your question to the White Knights of the Trading Forum for approval before posting a thread.

I completely agree with trading it for a beer you're interested, not trying holding out for the perfect trade where you feel you "won" and your trading partner "lost." A group of friends and I went to the E release and ended up with a couple of trades out of it. It seems like you're looking for specifics, so here you go: We went 1 for 1 on a LeBleu, with another beer for an '11 Black Tuesday, and another larger trade with an '09 BCBS, a BCBCS and an Oude Tart (and another beer or two that escape me). All IP trades. All great beers. Could we have squeezed more out of E? Probably. But we were happy and our trading partners were happy, so I consider that a success.

If it's your only one, drink it. If not, then go fishing. Just don't be too upset if you don't land a whale.
