When I was on the hunt for peche n Brett. The possible trade partner wanted my mimosa 1 for 1. I didn't do the trade because I really want drink it. If it helps at all?

So it wasn't a a ridiculous request, you just wanted to drink your Mimosa?

Correct sir, I just really want to drink the mimosa. Similar bottles released at the time. Both have very good reviews. Both are 10% and have brett. Main difference, peche n brett saw shelftime(very little) where mimosa was a brewery only release 2 per person. I think maybe to right person but you would maybe have to add to get it done.

No, because growlers are very cheap yet people still ask for a lot for whatever is on draft. I understand its in the middle of nowhere but a very small percentage of traders live very close to the breweries they travel to.

People asked a lot for PtY when it was growlered. No one thought that was weird. And people live near RR. Majority of the local HF traders still arent very close to the brewery.

Demands from those muling Beat would make it seem that NO ONE lives close to Russian River

Also, we both know that Pliny the Younger is much different than rotating yearly beers from HF

I like where this thread is going. I"m going to the release this weekend and will be buying my full share. It will be good to know I have some trade power... or I'll just drink it myself, because after all, it is world class beer.

My buddy still has bottle #1 of mimosa.

I figure certain factors with HF like location, frequency of certain beers brewed (some are one-offs or brewed maybe twice a year in very small batches), small amount of available traders, and very limited distribution equal out the value when compared to PtY (when it was growlered). I certainly don't see people asking crazy stuff for Edward. Sometimes for Abner but that beer is glorious. A lot of us would rather drink this stuff than trade it so you should be happy people are out there willing to give it up.

This is why I like setting up pre-trades. I want to drink the growlers. Abner is amazing. I'd personally ask more than $4$ just because of how out of the way it is. When I got there I couldn't believe how small and out of the way it is. HF makes The Alchemist seem like it's in a metropolis.

Glad this thread was here. I was trying to figure out the same thing. I seriously doubt I have anything that would land a Mimosa. Maybe there might be some better luck when the next batch is released. Maybe not. One can only hope.
