@brother_kenneth those wicked weeds are your best bet, probably.

Honestly, Chocolate Rain is so easy to get that the only reason to trade a norma for one would be if you really wanted a $20 chocolate rain. Myself, I'd just offer topper or something $4$. Darkness just doesn't really have the same pull. The only problem with the wicked weeds is that they lack the pedigree, and are still kind of under the radar.

Good idea. I was thinking that WW bottles might be the best bet too. If we're being honest, I don't understand how Chocolate Rain is so easy to get, given that RS members can only get a max of 6 and it is so damn expensive. But, maybe that is what it's come to.

Probably because there's lots of RS members on here and 6 is a high limit. Plus it's made every year.

I thought Norma was made each year?

But in much smaller quantities than Chocolate Rain.

There are a TON of RS members though. All I know is I have 3 or 4 chocolate rains at home, but I'm not an RS member and I've never specifically traded for a bottle of CR.

It is, usually around 900 bottles released each year. This is batch 3. Last year it was 1 per person (with the exception of day #1 when it was 2 per) and this year it was 3 per, I think it's down to 2 now though.

Like Damon, Norma is just a really well known HFS release, people look forward to it every year and some people even plan days off/vacations around the release.

Norma b1 was tiny compared to the other two. It was around 300 bottles/1 per person

In case anyone is interested in what panned put, I just traded one 2014 Chocolate Rain for one Batch 3 Norma + 2 BA Framinghammers.

Do y'all think 4 prairie bombs would trade for Norma or Damon, or would I need to add?

I don't see that happening. Not even close for the Norma.

For the small footprint Bomb! is distro'd in, it's incredibly easy to trade for. On top of that, I think some hit distro in VT.

I agree. I love me some Bomb!, but I would need more than 4 to let go of a Damon.

Maybe some of the Bomb variants then? I know there has been a Rum variant at least, right? Good luck!

BA Speedway 1:1 with Norma? Or is that nonsense?

It just kind of baffles me that this beer pulls so much, yet it's been available at HF for a week(at least according to their site).

Yes, but I don't think they get quite the traffic that other places get given they are in the middle of nowhere, they had low limits on Norma, and they had weather up there this week.

Resurrecting this post hopefully.....would a NG Wild Peach pull a Norma? I would have no issue in adding to make up for $4$. Any insight would be helpful, thanks!
