Hi, fellow beer lovers

66 years old, living in Melbourne FL area, originally from NC, lived all over the US, Thailand, lots of time in Eastern Europe. I truly love beer. I posted on this site for many years, somehow couldn't get on one day, and just quit posting, but kept using the site. I finally checked back in under a new name. Pilsner Urquell was the gateway beer for me towards quality. I discovered it around 1990, have since toured the brewery and spent time in Pilsen, highly recommend a few nights in that town, nice change of pace from Prague. I love traditional styles, porters, classic Belgians, love the true British real cask ales, old school IPA's, hefe's, - really into the Bavarian stuff lately, Weihenstephan especially. I drink a lot, roughly 6 beers a day every single day, but balance it with diet and exercise, sort of a fitness guy who will never give up beer.

 

Thank you guys. I probably won't worry about my old posts, just start over. About the breweries, we still have a lot of work to go here. Intracoastal Brewing in Melbourne is excellent. This isn't like some great areas in the US where there's a great brewery in every neighborhood.
