I'm Jim dammit, and I love beer!
Had an old fridge for many many years converted to draft and drank so much draft I got tired of it, no I didn't, that's a lie. Fridge finally died after all it was bought new in 1971!
Found a nice used Kegco two tap unit that was disassembled for cleaning and they couldn't figure out how to put it back together so I got it for a song. I have everything all reassembled, but they had replaced the casters white cheap stuff from harbor freight, so I came to see if i can get any help putting the casters back to original.

Hi, Jim dammit. Welcome to the BA site where we all love beer, so you're definitely among friends here.

The cheap casters on your kegerator must not be working very well if you're interested in trying to replace them. Have you looked online for a parts list for your model? Maybe if the previous owner had to replace them the 'original parts' may also have been inferior. Did whoever installed the current casters use the old mounting holes, or are the attachment locations modified with new holes that messed up the mounting surface? What is keeping you from installing new casters from a home center's hardware department?

I see that you have posted in the Home Bar forum already. There are a few members who show up in there only occasionally to try to help out with problems, so sit tight until that happens. Hopefully by paging @billandsuz here will get a response to take a look at your situation and give you some advice. Good luck.

Dammit Jim, I’m a beer drinking architect, not a household appliance repairman! Maybe try sliders, or a dolly for that Kegco, or Tractor Supply for some decent heavy duty casters if my cob-job ideas are too ridiculous.

oh, and welcome to the world of snark! But seriously, Tractor Supply is a decent idea. While you’re here, check out all the other fun content on BeerAdvocate.
