    Saw the first FB post of cans hitting VA and most shops are saying Tuesday which (obviously?) excites me immensely!

    Wegmans in King of Prussia, PA just put it out today. I grabbed some at lunch and almost didn't buy it because it was so hard to see right away. I walked by it twice before noticing.

    This beer was really great, finally got a chance to try it last night. @Sixpoint , can you clue me in as to how you get such head retention on a big 10%+ beer? Also I thought that the malt base had kind of a honey or light syrup kind of character, but didn't taste a lot like caramel. Also the clarity on this beer is really nice.

    Still don't see it at Wegman's in Collegeville. Crazy it's right down the street at KOP. Oh well...

    I'm not sure how the Collegeville one is set up but when you walk into KOP Wegmans through the Pub area they have the initial shelves of current seasonals and new releases. It was on the very bottom shelf but had six packs with brighter packging then the Hi-Res packaging so I didn't notice it my initial two passes. It may not be in the East Coast aisle right now with the other Sixpoint beers.

    yup, on shelves and hope you enjoy!

    Tons and tons of dry hops add a lot of oil to the beer, and help contribute to the head retention. There is no honey in the beer, but when you boil down wort with that much grain for 90 minutes, you will get a slight malt syrup character. So much fermentable sugar to create a beer that's above 10% ABV!

    it has hit the area....if you contact TJ Sheehan's, they will have a list of places carrying it....

    just grabbed a few cans near Philly, i guess second wave. this beer is not has hoppy as in years past though very enjoyable for what it is. a different level of complexity. give it a try.
