Just wanted to share. Tried their, "Lager" the other day and was very surprised at how well this drank. I've not been overly big on Hi-Wire, had a couple of bad experiences there at the brewery where the wife literally left 2 beers on the counter as undrinkable to her and mine weren't much better... But, that was before I tried this Lager. To my palate this was very much akin to Fat Tire with maybe a bit more body. As I wrote in my review of this beer, it could become one of my new go to Asheville brews and has shot up on my favorites list. Wanted to share.
I really like their Coffee Milk Stout and Black IPA...they have great mouthfeel..I wasnt impressed with Maneater ( imp IPA) and had heard that the regular IPA and Pale were not remarkable...
I completely agree and felt their Lager was the best Lager I've ever had. It was outstanding... Their milk stout is no slouch either but the standout to me, for them, is their Lager
I had a few of these during my last trip to Asheville and was impressed. Some friends from Asheville came to town last night and what did they bring me? That's right. A 6 of HiWire Lager. Had a few last night. Great lager!!
