Look at the space realistically though, what other part of that house could they expand into?

Do you think they would consider opening a second location for brewing?

It could be similar to the Tired Hands model: first the Cafe and then the Fermentaria. Or alternatively it could just be a production facility with all of the beer being consumed at the present location (plus some kegs sent to beer bars). Or...

    Cheers!

I'm just saying I would like more of their beer but can't make it out that often.

And then they could start canning and we could come to this thread to complain about lines, chairs, prices, and all the usual stuff!

Their's is most definitely not a Tired Hands model.

Well not anymore but they remind me of back in the day with only the cafe. They just haven't done any releases really of any kind.

Could you count the crowler hype as a type of release? I mean, people line up early for crowlers.

My experience with crowlers has been an in and out kind of situation.

The few times I went there was a line. Not a huge line, but a more than draft and there for IPA crowler line. I normally go Thursdays though if I'm getting to go beer so it probably doesn't happen like that anymore and I didn't notice. My bad!

What about that decently sized barn/garage type of building that is right out front as you pull in the parking lot? I don't think that's currently being used for any brewing operations, is it? That would seem like a good place to expand to.

if these guys weren't so far out they would be making even more of a killing... there beers are great but i have no desire to drive so far out of the way for them with so many other options available these days..... still awesome stuff coming from them... really wish i could visit more often but it's just not feasible... anybody within a decent drive should be here very often imo

Yeah about 3 times a month or so, not quite once a week.

I drive past it on my way home from work so I'm normally in once or twice a week.

Jack, did you see that a keg of Hidden River made it down to LaCabra, they posted about it on Instagaram. That's a first I believe.

The crowler thing anymore seems to be hit or miss....mostly miss. The last 3 times I was there they had the sign out "no beer to go this weekend". That seems to be happening more often.

I had Hidden River at Capone's before. I think about 9 months ago.

    Cheers!

Had never heard that. At least they are getting a little beer out to the bars. Nice.
