Nope but the space and batch size are very small. The past couple of times I have been lucky enough to either get one of the last crowlers or have them take pity on me if they just ran out and fill a growler instead. Nice crew.

river to river was phenomenal. had it alongside a couple trillium cans (were about a month old for those wondering), and it was better.

The more and more people find out about this place, the more disappointed i become (being crowded). It is hard to order here on a busy night. But the staff could not be nicer. They should make more of an effort to send people out to take orders through the rest of the property instead of the cluster that forms at the bar, BUT I am so curious to see what happens to this little place as the word gets out more and more!

i hate name dropping, but i did talk to doug very briefly last friday, and he did say there was something in the works to alleviate some of the crowded feeling in the bar area. he didnt say how prioritized this was or provide any specific details, but at least they acknowledge theyre growth and they will probably have to manage it better and/or on a faster track than they initially wanted to ensure customer keep coming back.

There's not too much population around there so that should always help keep the crowds down. It seemed fine in the summer with the deck open. I haven't been there when the deck has been closed since they won best new brewery, but even in the summer there was a line at the small indoor bar. I can imagine it getting pretty crowded in there.

Went there once, and wasn't many people like 20 and was uncomfortably crowded in the spaces. From this thread, it sounds like I need to get back there sooner than later

The folks at Hidden River and Stickman have been surprised at the reception, to say the least. I think this summer at Hidden River will be nuts, especially with Fork and Ale having just opened literally right up the street along side the bike trail. The place that hasn't been slammed, but is coming along, is Tuned Up, which has the fortune (or misfortune) of being the closest watering hole to my house. I'll usually stop off for a nightcap or two on my way home. Thank God the Bourbon Porter kicked, now I might be able to get out of there in decent shape, though they did put a quad on. And with two brewpubs and a Foodery set to open in Phoenixville, and demolition/construction having started on Steve's place, things could get real ugly around here. A lot of Uber drivers are going to get to know me.

Good times in the far west burbs.

Yes they do, pretty much fill them each weekend for their most popular (NE IPA) styles. The problem is they normally sell out pretty quickly each day, assuming they crowler each day. I have seem them fill a crowler on the spot, but normally they fill them in off hours. Still, if crowlers are sold out I just take my growlers and get them filled. Normally they only growler after all Crowlers are gone.

I literally just drove by Tuned Up last night and did a double take, I heard there was a new brewery in Spring City but had no idea where it was....needless to say it's really small and hard to see if you are not looking for it. So the beers are good? I'll have to stop in the near future. Mmmmmmm, bourbon barrel porter.

Steves? You mean Armstrong? That's the closest to me, im in Lower Pottsgrove.

yeah, I meant Steve Armstrong. I'm across the river in East Coventry.

Tuned Up's beers are solid imo. They had some serious dispensing issues when they opened, but that has been straightened out. They're not going to set the geeks all a flutter, and they're not going to try, no NE IPAs as of yet. It's a fun place to hang, much more of a bar feel than a brewpub atmosphere, but that's what they want. And with it being Spring City, you never know what is going to walk in, especially in the summer. Some of their beers have made it to craft and the Trappe, they're trying to get into a couple other area places.

Nice, I'll definately get there real soon. I can swing by there on my way home too, I work in Malvern......which by the way is getting a new brewery literally at the end of the road from my office. Locust Lane, opening beginning of Februrary.

This western suburbs beer sprawl is awesome.

Oh nice, on my way home.

I work down the street from the Trappe, will have to find their stuff when it's there.

A Black IPA of theirs went on at Trappe around Christmas.

I drove down Main Street in the Summer, actually looking for it, and couldn't find it. They need better signage.
