Highest rated beer you have chugged...

Don't really chug unless its a Bud Lite, but I did take down a Zombie Dust down pretty fast one time.........or two...Rated 4.53 on BA...

 

Downing a Pineapple Sculpin right now. Good aroma but not a fan of the flavor. I get no pineapple.

A few nights ago did the same with a Mango Even Keel, and a few nights before that a Watermelon Dorado. I must say apart from Grapefruit Sculpin and MAYBE the Habanero, I haven't liked any of their flavored series. And since I don't like peppermint, the Peppermint Victory at Sea will never cross this threshold.

 

Dang, maybe I should start going back to Hooters again...

 

Bigfoot... Very recently... Had just poured a 2016 to enjoy on the back porch when my wife stepped out wearing her birthday suit asking when I was planning to come to bed.... I hit the door about 10 seconds later with an instant buzz... Thank you, Ken Grossman....

 

Chugging is for mass-produced BMC crap, not the good stuff...

So I pulled a 14' and 15' KBS out of the fridge for a side by side. Then as I began to take my first sip of each my wife walks out into the kitchen with her purse and said were meeting your parents for supper and we have to leave now... Well, I wasn't going to waste them, so I chugged them both.

 

Just chugged a can of alter ego from treehouse today. The second I cracked it open the old lady told me we were running late for a lunch date with friends, so I had no choice.

 

As have I. I would bring some down to me to my apartment in DC and I would often have to chug as we were walking out the door.

 

Turned their noses up? At Yeti? Heathens! ; )

 

I chugged a pint of Alpine Nelson at Green Flash because the party bus was about to leave without me.

 

I imagine the highest rated beer many of us have chugged is Pliny the Elder.

 

I've chugged a regular Sculpin and also a Stone Arrogant Bastard before. I felt guilty afterward both times.

I have also chugged many, many other lesser beers and not felt the slightest bid bad about those, though. So I guess it all works out in the end.

 

I chug all my beers. I hate being distracted by lingering flavors, and the inconvenience of having to pay attention to beer in my glass kinda ruins the whole getting drunk thing to me. Plus, if you don't finish your beer quickly you have to deal with all those strong flavors that start to come out when it warms up. And of course the main reason I chug all my beers is I am old and when I do it it makes me feel like I am back in college getting wasted with my bros.

Don't chug beer anymore, did learn what a kegstand is on my 50th birthday while tailgating out side a Vikings game years ago. Some collage kids asked if I wanted to do one, not knowing what it meant, I asked. They showed me, my wife said your're not doing that. At that point I had to. Waldo did go down pretty quick recently. Says right on the bottle: Life is uncertain, Don't sip.

 

I once shotguned a jai alai on a dare. Wasnt as rough as I thought it would be.

 

A few years ago I got drunk at a friend's Halloween party that was just up the street from my house. I didn't wear a costume to the party because I came right from work. Woke up in the morning on my floor dressed as the flying nun. Later that day I was looking at pictures in my phone and found one of me walking home from the party with empty bottles of 2009' Bourbon County Brand Stout and RR Consecration. I later found out that I had run home and raided my cellar and the beers were used to play beer pong

 

Westy 12. Just because years ago it was rare and desired and me and some friends split the ridiculous cost and shipping from Europe for a sixer and we were hosting our first Beermaggedon. And after a day of drinking and bowl games we had a single left- no one wanted to leave it and I was dared to chug it, we poured, took a video, and after I pounded that sucker the last thing I recall is yelling "I am the Abbott!", and then passing out....

 

There have been many over the years but the one I remember most recently was a Sixpoint Hi-Res. It was gone in no time. I didn't mean to chug it, it just seemed to happen.
