    Oh, yeah, 2015 GJG is still kicking ass. I only tried '14 and '15 side by side today, though.

    Glad he came away with something. BTW, that dry process Ethiopian is awesome. Wish I ordered two bags from you.

    @the_trystero is it your birthday?

    I'll probably be by Hermosillo around that time too.

    After I find some pants.

    So glad I decided to skip the line and enjoyed some food/pours/growlers. Honestly I don't think the Double IPAs in East coast style are my thing, I'd probably have gotten in line for any of their core beers they've released before in cans.

    Hahah, hell yeah. My birthday is the 12th but since I'll be moving I'm going to take care of my bday stuff tonight.

    I think there may have been more Monkish cans being consumed inside The Hermosillo than HPB beers, fucking insane given the tap list today: Cloudy, Please, occupied space, 3 years of GJG, Nectarine Trading Burritos... I'm sorry juicebros you've officially jumped the shark

    happy for them, sad for myself. it was an anomaly that I wasn't working and happened to get to go, but doesn't bode well for future releases. I will say the line moved pretty fast though

    funny to eavesdrop on people in line talking about being at Monkish, how they're going to trade this beer, head to Noble tomorrow etc.. honestly, it's cool to see people passionate about it and into it, but I can't imagine going day after day to these types of things

    I just don't know how folks can drink so much beer. I try to keep it to one beer a night, which is still plenty in my opinion. If you're maxing out at each release, you end up with a shit load of beer that sits in the fridge past its prime. If you trade the shit out, you receive beer that may also not be in its prime (due to transit). Either way, you end up with a surplus

    Yeah, you'd never guess the majority of people waiting in these lines drank that much beer, they're all in such great shape.

    Haha touché. I'm still amazed that folks can put so much down on a nightly basis.

    Was following the line situation during work and, sadly, it made no sense to try and race over at 6pm. Oh well, maybe next time.

    Trystero, I owe you a b-day beer or six.

    Bah, I owe all my beer friends beers! It's been one helluva fun day at the Hermosillo and HPB today! Thanks especially to, in no particular order, Bob!!! Ryan, Erik, Abel, Javier, Chris, Danny, Jeff, Brandon, John, Greg, Greg S, Jerome, Carlos, Drew... ugh, good night.

    Dude, I feel bad having 1 beer during the week. I usually keep my drinking for the weekend. I don't think it's bad as long as you're not hurting yourself or others and can control it. Not sure why I have that guilt though.

    Lol! Seriously. If I were single, I'd make it a point to meet my date at a release, not in line but in the taproom, of course. In comparison, my chances of getting laid would increase slightly.

    The day I was going to order some they were sold out while I was there! Hopefully they'll still be doing them on Wednesday.
