Has anyone drank cloud party from cans & on tap? If so, was it better from cans?

I had it on tap friday night. Was a bit more hoppy than I expected. I enjoyed it, but at the same time I'm almost glad cans were sold out by the time I got there.

The place was packed, probably typical on a friday night. We brought donuts from down the street. Was a nice combo.

I actually forgot to pickup the bottles from the last release... will be returning very soon!

How hoppy were you expecting a DIPA to be?

Isn't that the main appeal of these hazy IPA's? That it's more approachable to those who don't like that west coast "stone level you're not worthy" IPA because the hop bitterness is masked by the basic pulpy juice flavors?

Either way, Cloud Party was awesome.

also thought Please Forgive Me was better when i tried the two. thought cloud party had some bite at the end. couldnt get cans but i would think that it'll smooth out with a few days

Pro Tip: Ask for the "insiders" blend of that new hop goodness... Please Party.

Sounds like the two IPA's blended together Arnold

I drank my first growler of Please Forgive Me last night and with every sip I was more assured of my decision to skip the cans that day. It reminds me of Wide Rainbows from Cellarmaker.

I don't know, maybe my palate was off that night.

I'm curious if there is any difference from can vs tap.

I think it's pretty similar, I had it on tap a couple of times Friday and then a couple of cans over the weekend. I'm one who prefers Cloud Party over Please Forgive Me but I am very interested in a blend of the two.

Drinking one now, it's definitely not bitter to my palate right now, and is definitely on the juicier side of the spectrum.
