Had Raised Eyebrows tonight. One of the best sours I've ever had. Top three definitely with Home Sour Home and SiTR w/ pineapples & coconut. GJG was no slouch as well. Reminded me of a chocolate covered coffee bean. Super smooth and dangerous for a 12% beer. Can't wait for the barrel aged version. I'm gonna be dreaming of that Raised Eyebrows tonight... Glad I was able to snag some bottles.

girlfriend and i started by sharing raised eyebrows 1 and 2. she liked batch 1 better. hard to decide for me. 1 is definitely more mellow and funky. 2 the fruit comes through more. more bright like koger said.

was blown away by Company of Parrots though. would buy that by the growler if i could. Bonkers is tasting excellent as well. need to go back and try some of the stuff i haven't tried yet.

Popped open a bottle of Parrots yesterday. Gushed out and lost about half of it.

Put them in the fridge for 24-32 hours before opening to calm them down and avoid gushing.

Opened my Company of Parrots tonight. While it didn't gush, it was very highly carbonated...Tasted completely different from draft

Thanks I didnt know that.

Seriously though it was in the fridge for about a day and a half. I had to look and make sure that I hadn't accidentally grabbed a lost abbey bottle.

Hey Y'all, Bob from HPB here.

Sorry for any lost bottles from gushing. We'll gladly replace your bottle if you did lose a beer from a gusher (we don't want your hard earned money to be wasted). Just DM me or email me at [email protected]. It's the challenge with both mixed culture fermentation and the desire to have an elevated level of carbonation. These are lively bottles and we like them that way, but that does pose a problem. We've probably opened 7-8 bottles of Parrots and didn't have any issues (though they all had very lively carbonation). However those are bottles that haven't been moved around much. Bottles being transported and going through different temperature swings are more likely to not be as stable. We recommend getting the beer as cold as possible and having a glass ready (champagne style y'all!!!).

Please don't hesitate to reach out if you've had any issues. We will make it up to you.

    Best, Bob

Bottle was better in my opinion. With the yeast in the bottle, the flavor was more well rounded. Not to say the draft version was bad; it was fine. I just preferred the bottled one is all

Wow, if you thought the bottle was better, I'm pretty excited. I thought the pour I had on draft Friday was amazing. Looking even more forward to cracking a bottle now.
