Perfect timing! My fridge is currently outta IPAs.

Non-haze release. Think they'll last until Saturday when I go to pick up bottles?

 

What did everyone think of Huge Pappy? On Untappd it seemed like people were pretty divided on whether they liked it or not

 

I was somewhere in the middle. I loved it as a smoked stout. The smoke definitely overpowered the cacao and whatever else was in there, though. I can understand if the divisiveness stems from confusion, originally I read it as an imperial stout aged in Pappy barrels, while the sign at the HPB booth clearly stated that THE CIGARS were what was aged in Pappy barrels. Expecting a Pappy barrel-aged stout would have left me underwhelmed. I'm not a cigar guy, so them being barrel aged seems like a waste of a barrel...but what do I know?

That said, I really loved Friendlier, too. I MIGHT have maybe slightly drunkenly loudly declared to Bob and Co.f that Friendlier was "All I want to drink right now" after 90 straight minutes of trying every 10% ABV and above stout in the room. Give me five gallons of Friendlier on a brew day, or at any sporting event, or all summer long, and I'd be a very happy drunk.

 

No lines here at all. Perfect day for traffic and hello la is tasting mighty fine right now.. Cant wait to try Timbo when I get home n sit in my undies watching kcal 9 news

I rolled through close to 5 and it was the easiest pick up of my life, literally no line. I love no hype!

 

I can’t believe Timbo cans are still available. I’m having people over tonight and needed some more drinkable beers for the non-IPA stout people. Problem solved

 

Stopping by tomorrow late afternoon. Happy to hear Timbo cans have lasted this long...hopefully they'll make it through tomorrow.

 

I found it curious that they made 120 cases of Timbo and 60 of Hello LA this time. I think they planned on having some Timbo around for awhile but I could be wrong.

 

Timbo cans were still available when we went yesterday evening. Looked like a modest amount of cases stacked up in the back cooler. Hello, LA and Friendlier on for crowler fills- I'm all stocked up for the holidays.

Also, that Latte Vastness of Space from Cellarmaker was amazing.

Ooooooh, nice. And Bob is working on a coffee and coconut imperial stout. I wonder if it will debut on Jan 5.

 

They "liked" my comment on IG asking about it, but who knows...
