I like Cat Delivery and I was going to say I know someone else that doesn't like it like you, someone who knows I like a little sweet and malty, but he's already replied to the thread. hahaha

Interesting blend. Hammered satin and red tick in whiskey barrels. Will try it tonight

I went yesterday to pick up my bottles and they didn't have this one on. Damnit, I wish I was closer.

    Lazy Susan is superb, though.

Picked up Lazy Susan bottles earlier and a growler of Hello, LA. Hello is tasting awesome. Also had in house bottles of Raised Eyebrows and Woodshop 10. Woodshop is ridiculous. Definitely will be on the lookout for a barrel aged version.

It was just a a blend of Hammered Satin and Red Tick aged in a 5 gallon whiskey barrel. I enjoyed it. A very drinkable "Old Ale"-esque beer, not overly sweet, not overly hot, just a real nice balance.

That's just Greg being "Gerg", I think he meant that none went into barrels, and that all of Woodshop is already bottled or drank. And Since BA Hammered Satin is already in bottles, I believe it would be unlikely to see a BA Woodshop, though I'm sure there are small scenarios where they could possibly do so.

    !!!!!!!!

    BEER DETAILS:

Lazier Susan - This beer uses the Lazy Susan base, but is aged in French oak barrels with more fruit (bring the total to around 3 lbs of fruit per gallon). Lazier Susan is a sour wheat beer aged with a mix of yeast and bacteria (Lactobacillus, Pediococcus, Saccharomyces, and Brettanomyces) and then has organic Masumoto family farm peaches and nectarines added in barrel. This all developes into notes of funk, oak, racy acidity, and juicy stonefruit. 4.9% abv

    700 bottle release. $16 per 500ml bottle

Barrel-Aged Hammered Satin - We've aged our silky, decadent, and drinkable double oatmeal stout for 6 months in a Buffalo Trace Whiskey barrel. In addition to big body, dark chocolate, and oatmeal cookies, the oak has contributed added flavors of coconut, cookie crisp cereal, and integrated wood. 10% abv.

    325 bottle release. $14 per 500ml bottle
