Highland Park Brewery thread

The bottles of lazy susan were drinking great. those 10 months have really let them put on some weight and sourness.

The craftsman sour was damn good too.

 

I had them pour me a double of the craftsman, which was basically a woodshop unofficial anniversary beer. Griffith got tapped tonight as well. But I expect there's plenty more kegs to go around.

Raised Eyebrows on tap was good as well.

 

Just maxed on my GJG (duh) and Neighborhood. I liked the Neighborhood bottle the other day a lot more than when I first had it on tap. I think the orange peel has faded enough and the base beer got a little tarter.

 

Maxed GJG. Had it on tap last night and thought it was ridiculously good. Really enjoyed the first batch, love this batch. The coffee flavor on it is fantastic, great selection.

@the_trystero I had the Griffith J Griffith, its a amazing. Looking forward to the pre-sale tomorrow and I'd like to buy some of that coffee from you

 

I was able to buy bottles of both Neighborhood and GJG through the Eventbrite email link. Is this pre-sale supposed to be locked down from common folk such as myself?

how'd you get the password?

 

No password needed. I got the Eventbrite release info email sent early this morning and just clicked on the link in the headline. I was able to select bottles (drop down menu shows 6 for both GJG and Neighborhood but I went with 2 each) and then check out normally.

Update: Ok, I just tried the link again and now it's showing me the password prompt. Whoops...guess I snuck in at the right (wrong?) time...

 

Shit, I posted the link for the regular Eventbrite which should have started tomorrow. There is an HPB frequent flyer release that started today, though.

I got the email from HPB and bought some bottles. Any excuse to get back to the brewery, looking forward to it!

 

Just two bottles each. I think going with six would have been pushing my luck and taken a deduction from my beer karma balance.
