Well, there goes my streak of getting HPB cans.

 

Ha, maybe.

 

Have no fear I would bet that Friday releases will be back, as the second release of Hello, LA, Bob wants to spread the love to those people that can't get there for a Friday release. It's all about love. It will be on tap it will be great and no one will miss trying to get DDG.

 

But what about the new Monkish cans?!?! I'm curious to see if anyone will be able to hit up both.

 

Indeed it was. But Good Green is even better!

 

I hope your right. Saturday is easier for me. But I think Friday is less hassle. 2 bad things about Friday release is I have to take off work early and the Friday afternoon traffic heading back to OC. Saturday? Probably the line issue. But for Hello LA? I'll be there at 6am. Not.

 

No doubt people will be shooting to do both.

I'd imagine folks doing both will start lining up at Monkish at 6am. By the end of the day, they will have invested 6-7 hours of their time into getting cans of IPA. Haha what a time to be alive.

 

What a time to be in the mobile canning business

 

Hah, yeah, Good Green just ain't my jam.

 

I try to buy whatever is canned these days. I hardly ever fill my 30+ growlers anymore. If they have both bottles and cans. Cans it is. I feel the spa's last a bit longer in the cans. Opened one of my last 2 Bonkers last night. Still tasting great. Lets hope BW gets their canning line going. Would love to see Melrose or Amalgamator or CitraHolic in cans. Come on Kern River with the cans.

 

This would be the day I stop buying almost any other IPAs. Between Beachwood, Kern, and HPB, I think my IPA needs would be fully covered.

 

Same. Amalgamator in cans would become a staple in my fridge

 

jesus Good Green is amazing.. ended up with a growler too.. Dad Joke is quite nice.. Timbo Pils was really awesome too.. and that Yard Beer was really lovely as well as the Nitro coffee which i've had before. But Craftsman Sour Sumac was a revelation. That and Good Green were the favorites last night. kudos. Feeling it today.

 

Man, I guess I'm going to have to revisit it tomorrow. Or Saturday if I don't make it tomorrow to fill a growler of Timbo Pils.

 

C'mon over to the Green side. The $10 growler fill is a no brainer.

 

I regularly check this page, so figured I'd finally sign up and share my appreciation for HPB.

Has been my regular spot since it opened, what, a little over two years ago? I'm usually there on Sundays when it's more mellow (the hiphop playlists are always a plus). Love how well run everything is, especially with the ssssssecret list, and happy to finally be off work for some cans this weekend after missing every previous release.

Favorite beers are probably Cherry ****z, pFriem Spaceship, Help Yourself, and Hello LA.

Would love to make it out to Monkish sometime but not having a car and living in Ktown complicates things. Will make it out eventually.

Anyway, see you guys Saturday. I'll be in the parking lot with a vertical of band-aid flavored Fantôme.

 

A full 32 oz growler i'm sure.
