Highlighting old original OP posting date

There have been times that old posts are resurrected by someone who has a similar related but kind of different inquiry, and subsequent comments get added based on the original posting inquiry or topic that may not be very applicable to the renewed topic because of the time lapse. As a suggestion, is it possible to have your programming code automatically change the OP post date to a red color to highlight the date when is a year old? (Or perhaps all postings in a thread that are a year old?)
